In the fourth social media session Jo and Bert showed us around in the world of augmented reality.

They presented us the newest IPhone Apps offering augmented reality, talked about the ease and the added value of e-books, and we discovered that more and more advertising campaigns integrate social media.

Besides that, we saw virtual currency is becoming real business, we learned all about Facebook credits, virtual currency gifting, branded virtual gifts and mobile payments.

Real world meets virtual world

Will our lives be improved by augmented reality and will we only read ebooks? How virtual is Facebook when we see how FB Groups can generate impressive amounts of traffic to live events.
